I hope you are having a peaceful and enlightening Advent. It’s a difficult time of year to be anything other than harried, I know! Here at Fresh Mercies we have been very quiet for a long time, due to my M.E. worsening, and various stresses and strains of life, which seem to be forever with us.
I do have some good news to share with you, which is that I have a book out next June, being published by Paraclete Press. It is a collection of sacred receivings, born out of contemplative prayer, and is called Recital of Love. Paraclete have already designed it a beautiful cover as you can see, and it is available to preorder from them and all the usual suspects, if you so wish.
Buoyed by this, I continue to work at my other writings and am going to try to come back to this blog in the New Year. Given I am also now blogging at More than Writers, The Thinking Faith Project, Godspace, and one or two other places, this may be monthly rather than daily!
I want to thank you for not unfollowing this site whilst I’ve been on hiatus, and for your loyalty to this strange ministry of writing that the Lord has put on my heart. I hope, whether you are new here or have been reading since day one, that you will find something to sustain or bless you, wherever you are with life and faith.
God bless you,
